Ryecatcher is an academic intervention platform that helps students' academic performance improvement.
Ryecatcher is an NY-based education startup that helps parents and student advocates build and manage a circle of support resources tailored to each student's needs. Arthi, the CEO of Ryecatcher, asked us to redesign their tutoring management app to help students improve academic outcomes through tutoring and other resources.
The aggregated student dashboard serves as the app's landing page. The submenu under the main tabs allows coordinators to filter data by subject. To view a specific student’s progress, coordinators can use the collapsible sidebar to search for a student or scroll through the list and select the desired student.
Coordinators may also export students' progress data by pdf, jpg and link URL form and send e-mails to their parents and tutors.
Coordinators can schedule tutoring sessions for students as needed. They have the option to search and add additional students for group sessions, with the format automatically adjusted to 'group tutoring.' Coordinators can also specify a subject and set a specific goal for the session, focusing on the student's current area of development
Coordinators and tutors can add additional details about the session or specify the material to be covered, providing any relevant information the tutor may need. Session notes appear in the coordinator's feed, allowing them to track sessions in real time.
